On Tuesday 31st of January and Wednesday 1st of February 2023, we will be running our annual Refreshers’ Fairs at the SU!

These fairs are a great way to kick start 2023 by finding out about the huge range of opportunities available to you as a student of the University of Plymouth.

From accessing discounts and deals, picking up some generous freebies, getting involved in student groups, finding volunteering opportunities and accessing support and wellbeing services... the Refreshers' Fairs have it all!

They are also completely free to attend!

Refreshers’ Fair (Discounts and Freebies) on Tuesday 31st January (11am-5pm)

This Fair will feature local and national companies who will be offering University of Plymouth students discounts, deals and offers to make your student budget stretch that little bit further!

There will also be members from various student housing companies in Plymouth who you can pop by and chat to about your housing needs and ask any questions you may have.

We will also be joined by members of the University of Plymouth Student Wellbeing Services for students who would like to find out more about the mental health support available from the University.

Come along to the Fair and see:

Refreshers Fair (Clubs, Societies & Volunteering) on Wednesday 1st February (11am-4pm)

When you join the University of Plymouth, not only are you enrolling as a student, but you also become a member of your SU, and with that comes a wide range of benefits and opportunities that you have access to!

We know the first term of the year can be a bit crazy and you may have missed some of the amazing things you can do with your SU membership, but it's never too late to make the most of your SU! Whether you are a new student, returning student, or a postgrad student, UPSU has something for you; with over 100 student groups to choose from you're bound to find the one for you.

We have a wide range of student-led academic, cultural, faith, food & drink, media, performing arts, political and welfare societies available for you to join. We also have many student-led sports clubs available; from boxing to volleyball, golf to lacrosse, come and speak to some of the students who run these groups to find out what they get up to and how you can get involved this year:
