About
Our club is all about bringing sports together, whether you are a competitive swimmer, recreational swimmer, a waterpolo player or even a synchronised swimmer, this is the club for you. Our club takes part in many competitions throughout the academic year including BUCS, Varsity and club fun galas.
To keep up-to-date on what we are doing, as well as information on training sessions and how to book onto them, we recommend joining our facebook page!

The first swimming session will just be sorting people in to lanes nothing to strenuous after the long summer.
Waterpolo players and people wanting to give waterpolo a try will need, hat, goggles, swimming costume, bottle of water
A lot of people have never tried polo so we will take it easy see if it is something you would like to be a part of. Meet the team and get to grips with some of the rules.
Synchro swimmers will need hat, goggles, swimming costume, bottle of water and a nose clip.
Socials
We like to carry out regular socials (normally with a theme), once every week in first term and once every other week after that. Socials will all be held in person this year unless government guidelines change. Our social secretaries work very hard to make these as fun as posisble! We will also be bringing in small social groups, compliant with government guidelines, to give people to chance to meet in-person! If any member is still feeling uneasy about socialing in person, dont worry there will be some online events so you can still get involved!
Events
Swimmers who love a bit of fun competition or any memebrs who like socialising, we will be taking part in Short course BUCS, our captains will also be organising in-club galas, as well as friendlies with other local universities so there will still be a chance to compete! We will still intend on attending Long course and Team Champs, both great weekends of racing not to be missed!
Waterpolo also takes part in BUCS competitions throughout the year, putting forward both male and female teams. If you want any details or have any questions about competitive water polo speak to the male and female captains (Tommo Brock and Becki Wilson).
Waterpolo compete in Varsity, a competition between the University of Plymouth and Plymouth Marjon! As a club we look to carry out as many charity fundraising events as possible. Members will have a chance to get involved with smaller fundraising events like bakesales and charity fun galas. We welcome any fun fundraising ideas for the year ahead.
We look forward to meeting everyone!
