The Marine Biology Society (MBS)

Welcome to The University of Plymouth Marine Biology Society (MBS), where we are involved in everything and anything Marine Biology, with each and every one of us having a passion for our wonderful marine world (who wouldn’t when in Plymouth).

Throughout the year, with your membership, you will have access to the exclusive events, activities and fun which the MBS offers. Some of these being

Two of our annual highlights are our Winter Ball and Summer Boat Party (Catch Tony Knights dancing to ABBA on the dance floor!)

We will be focusing on providing academic talks, outdoor adventures and many other activities throughout the year with many society socials to look forward too.

Marine Biology Society - Standard Membership: £12

-          For Plymouth University students who are based in Plymouth

-          For International students who are here for both terms

Placement Membership: £7.00

-          For Plymouth University students who are currently on their placement year

-          Erasmus+ students who are at Plymouth for a term

Committee membership: £5.00
