We recognise that publication of confirmed results can be a very stressful time for many students. 

If you are unhappy with your confirmed results, please have a look at the Appeals information on the Student Portal to see what academic actions you may be able to undertake and whether you have grounds for an appeal. 

You may also want to look at the SU Advice appeals guidance – it’s important to remember that dissatisfaction with results is not a valid reason for an appeal.  

Please note, the deadline to submit an appeal is 10 working days from your confirmed results publication date.

Student Wellbeing Services - The University has a dedicated Student Wellbeing team who can provide support if you are unhappy with your results. Please note that this service won’t be available once you have graduated. 

Local support services – A whole range of support services are available in the local area and online. 

Graduate Support - Even as a graduate you still have access to support from the University, ranging from Alumni support pages to one-to-one careers guidance. 

Livewell Southwest - Livewell has a range of services available to provide advice, support and signposting if you are experiencing a mental health crisis, anxiety, low moods, or stress. 

Mind - Mind runs mental health services through a variety of methods. Follow the link to find your local Mind. 

Please remember that you are not alone in this process! Many students will be in the same boat as you, and there is lots of support and advice available.
