Extenuating circumstances requests

SU Advice are seeing an increased number of students contacting us to ask for approval for Extenuating Circumstances (EC’S).

Whilst we can offer guidance on Extenuating Circumstances in general, we have no involvement in assessing or granting EC requests.

This decision lies with the university.

We are concerned that students contacting us and waiting for a response may miss their deadline for submission of extenuating circumstances. 

Please do not wait for our response if you have missed or will miss an assessment or submission deadline. You should complete the EC form which can be found at: https://plymouthuniversity.formtitan.com/ECLTH#/
