National Student Money Week: Get Out and About

GETTING OUT AND ABOUT IN PLYMOUTH FOR NOTHING, OR NEXT TO NOTHING

GET ON YOUR BIKE

Cycling is cheap way of getting around, especially as the weather improves and the evenings become lighter.

You can buy a cheap second hand bike on the internet – but make sure you do not hand over any money until you have inspected the bike and are happy with it.  You may even find one on freecycle.org.uk

If you need some assistance in maintaining and repairing your bike, UPSU offer free cycle maintenance workshops.  Dr. Bike will be on the SU roof from 1100 – 1230 on Thursday 9th February so bring your bike along for a free bike MOT.

But if you have a bike in the garage you don’t use, why not consider selling it on an auction site or donate it to a local charity bikespace.org.uk
