UPSU Student Voice

The SU is an independent charity run by students for students.

Plymouth students need a way to make their voice in decisions that affect their lives and UPSU has a significant role in ensuring that there are student representatives at every level. The Student Voice Team support students to challenge the status quo and influence key decisions, making sure they are the right ones for Plymouth Students. Representation facilitated by UPSU truly represents Plymouth students.

Executive Officers

Leading the union, representing you, campaigning for all students

In March every year, six officers are elected by the students to be their representatives, with the aim for our SU to be run by our students for our students. Any students can apply to become executive officers. Officers may take a year out between their studies or take up the position at the end of their degree. As UPSU is a not-for-profit charity, the officers also sit as trustees of the students’ union.
