Take some time away from exams and join us for our last Natural England trip of the year! We will be heading up to the beautiful Yarner Wood to carry out some practical conservation tasks. If you haven't joined us before now is the perfect time to come along, meet some new people and make a difference in your local community.
Travel is included as is tea and biscuits! Please bring lunch, a drink and a mug if you would like a hot drink.
We will be meeting outside the Nancy Astor Sport centre at 9am and will be back on campus no later than 4:30pm.
Remember to wear clothing suitable for the weather, that you don't mind getting dirty. Suitable shoes must be worn. Waterproof coats and trousers can be borrowed for a £20 deposit from the volunteering office within the Hive (Monday to Friday 10-3:30) if they are returned clean and dry within 72 hours the deposit will be refunded.
The sign-up sheet will be available in The Hive within the SU on Friday 17th May and if you haven’t done so already please remember to register on the volunteer toolkit on the UPSU website so we can log your hours - https://www.upsu.com/volunteer/toolkit/
