The most important meeting of the year for Plymouth University students at UPSU! The Students’ Union is run by students for students and exists to improve your experiences as a Plymouth University student, on and off campus! Therefore, the Annual General Meeting, or AGM, is your opportunity to scrutinize the work of your Students’ Union and check that it is indeed being run in your interests.

Students have the chance to submit motions (ideas) to be discussed at the meeting. If you would like to submit a motion, you need to do so 10 working days before the meeting takes place. You also need to find another Plymouth University Student who can "second" your changes. Any motion that looks at changing the Constitution or Bye-laws will need to be submitted 14 working days in advance. For more information on this, please contact the Student Voice Team!

•  Deadline for changes to the Constitution or Bye-laws - Friday 18th November
•  Deadline for all other motions - Thursday 24th November 

If those in attendance vote in favour of your motion, then it will become UPSU policy (assuming that it’s safe, legal, and financially viable of course).

The AGM 2016 will be held on Thursday 8th December, 18:00-19:00 in Sublime Bar, UPSU
