If I get elected for VP Sports, I want to enhance the sporting community at Plymouth University. I have always been passionate about sport and guiding others to get involved, like I have. I always strive to get the best of people, whether this is socially or competitively, and I want to pass this on.
Equality for all
Through my course (Primary Education specialising in SEN), I have developed an understanding of the difficulties many people face in sport. I would like to ensure that everyone (male, female, LGBT, disabled and all other minorities) have the opportunity to participate in sport.
Communication between clubs
I want to develop the social media base and communication between clubs to allow for more combined socials and other events, such as fundraising. I also want to develop the communication between clubs and the university, to ensure that students receive the support they require.
Team spirit
If I get elected for VP Sports, I will ensure that all sports have the opportunity to compete at all levels, both in Varsity, BUCS and locally. And receive as much support as possible from the university, community and individuals.
I want students at the university to realise how amazing the sports clubs at the university can be. I want to pass on my experiences and really help improve student life styles through sport.
If I am elected as VP Sports, I will make sure that all of my points are hit to improve sport at the university.
