What motivated you to run for a Sabbatical Officer role and why do you think you would be a good Sabbatical Officer?

This role will be considered as a similar role to those I have held during my Bachelor's Degree. I served as class representative thereafter I moved on as the the Assistant General Secretary of my Departmental association then became the President of the largest faculty/college of over 1,500 students in my University. I represented my university in several events and conferences within Nigeria and Outside Nigeria. Currently I am the course representative of MSc Data Science and Business Analytics

Why is the Sabbatical Officer role important?

This role brings out the best version of myself which makes me understand and appreciate what it means to render a service of humanity. I have held similar roles in the past which have made me realise the beauty of been a human. Through this role I understand that it's an opportunity for me to use my skill to make University of Plymouth a globally reconised university.

What three words would your friends use to describe you?

Jovial, Funny, Polite

If you could change one thing about the University, what would that be?

This would be how International student are been incorporated into university. International students are faced with lots of challenges upon relocation such as: accommodation, health and academics. These challenges would be my major uptake upon getting into the office.

If you could change one thing about the Students' Union, what would it be?

This would be making the best out of students who are finding it difficult to cope with their studies due to its difficulty or technicality. By doing this, I would setup a department possibly within the library, saddled with technical responsibilities of engaging disgruntled students to harvest their inner potentials which they might not be aware of prior to their studies. This could be Mechanical skills, Technical skills amongst others.

Who do you draw most inspiration from and why?

My father has been my major source of inspiration, he taught me everything I've known and how to be the best version of myself. He speaks solution to me during tough times and inspires me that in life that challenges are bound to exist and I will definitely overcome.

What is your proudest moment so far and why?

Being the course representative of my course in one of the most unprecedented and unexpected way still remains on of my most proudest moments in the past 6 months.
