The committee and players welcome you to the University of Plymouth Men's Rugby Club (UPRFC). We are one of the largest clubs within the university, gaining our prolific reputation on and off the pitch! Our BUCS sides train on Mondays and Fridays, playing matches on Wednesday afternoons. While our third team play on weekends. There are links to a local touch league where members of our club frequently enter sides for a run around and skill improvement. Please feel free to contact us and turn up to our stand at the fresher fair if you have any questions and may I take this opportunity to welcome you all to the Men's Rugby Club for what will be some of the best years that you will not forget!

Socials

Every Wednesday we are led out by our social secs. Be it fancy dress or representing the club in ones, we aim to make sure every single person in Plymouth knows who we are and what we are about. All social dates and information will be put up onto the Facebook page, so make sure you keep an eye out on that.

Events

We currently have two teams that compete in BUCS and a saturday team which plays against local sides as well as other university teams. The first team have been competitive in South West 1 this year, finding promotion through their excellent dicipline and execution. Our second team were also a competative side in the South West 2 division, finishing mid table . Our third teamhas a less intense veiw on the sport but still playing competitivley, focusing on having fun,  allowing all ranges of players to represent the university and improve their own rugby skills. This season, we aim to have a recoird number oft squad players to represent the first and second team.

Varsity is arguably the most important game of the year, where our first and second teams play against the local rival University of Marjon.There are opportunities for freshers to represent in this prestigious event, if the hard work is put in. Regardless, the same outcome is demanded by your team mates, fans and university.
