Celebrate Success - Sports

The celebrate success awards are for clubs of UPSU and is a chance to recognise them on an individual basis for their hard work and determination within their student group this academic year.

Nominations open on Friday 1st of March and close on Monday 8th of April 2024. Those who have been nominated and shortlisted will be notified for the awards ceremony on the 2nd of May 2023 in the SU Little Room.

We have a variety of awards up for grabs, and can't wait to look through your nominations.

If you know a sports club, committee member or volunteer who is deserving of a nomination please submit below.

Chair of the Year
This award goes to a chair/president of a sports club who has really gone above and beyond in their role in the sports club. Secretary of the Year
This award goes to a Secretary of a sports club who has really gone above and beyond in their role in the sports club. Safety Officer of the Year
This award goes to a Safety Officer of a sports club who has really gone above and beyond in their role in the sports club. Treasurer of the Year
This award goes to a Treasurer of a sports club who has really gone above and beyond in their role in the sports club. Non-Core Committee Role of the Year
This award goes to a non-core committee member of a sports club who has really gone above and beyond in their role in the sports club. Star of the Year
This award goes to any member from a sports club, this can be a committee or a normal member but has really shone in the sports club. Their presence is always known and really adds to the experience of the sports club. Volunteer of the Year
This Award goes to a volunteer who has a passion for volunteering, has attended multiple activities and has really made an impact.
