Sorry, there are no memberships available to purchase.

We are a society for people with an interest and passion for photography.

We welcome members of all abilities and experience but do expect you to bring your own photographic device, anything from a mobile phone to an SLR!

We charge £5.00 for the year's membership and aim to meet twice a month for a different photography event, workshop or social, in accordance with current COVID-19 guidelines.

Once you have paid for a membership, make sure you join the Members' Facebook group:

Our informative events range from city and harbour walks, to trips to the Eden Project where we'll be teaching you the appropriate settings, composition and exposure for your shots. We aim to have one big trip per semester with smaller trips spread out throughout the fortnightly activities. Previously, our members have covered events put on by other societies who were looking for photographers, for example, a concert by the Swing Band, a Christmas showcase by the Choir and work for the Musical Theatre Group and Amateur Dramatics society. This year we hope to get even more involved with other societies and give our members as much exposure as possible!

We aim to hold weekly socials and meet-ups ranging from day trips to local areas of photographic interest to nights out with photographic scavenger hunts. We are always open to new ideas and are really excited to have new members suggest different things! We are in the process of talking to other societies about holding joint meet-ups where you can meet members from other societies and learn more about the student networks available here at Plymouth University!

Once you have paid for a membership, make sure you join the Members' Facebook group:

This is where we will keep members up to date about workshops, trips, other events and competitions.
