Joining the Geology Society is a great way to meet other coursemates across all stages. We are a very active, friendly and inclusive society without barriers between year groups.
The society is open to everyone interested in Geology and geology related courses.
We host a range of socials, including non-drinking events, this year we will host dedicated sober events, for those who dont drink, these will be twice a month. These include the annual Christmas Ball and our annual BBQ (this year a picnic due to the bbq ban). We are hoping to go on more active trips too, such as walks on Dartmoor, camping and Residentals. We will also have more talks this year, with people from external sites and uni professers.
Members receive regular updates via our social media pages (Instagram) on the events we hold.
