Are you passionate about Computer Science and want to partake in a community of like minded people? At CompSoc, that's exactly what we can offer you.

This year, we plan to deliver more opportunities to network, compete and socialise with others in a vast range of disciplines and expertise. But most of all, we want to encourage you to persue whatever interests you the most, whilst building a strong community to support and fuel your interests.

And this isn't just for Computer Science students! Our doors are open to everyone, no matter your course, no matter your ability.

What's going on this year?

What we'd like to do this year is give a broad range of different types of events, from educational to social. Here are just some of the things we have lined up for you:

  • Hackathons - Competitions for you to show off your coding skill and creativity.
  • Talks and Conferences - Talks from proffesionals and experts in their field to inspire you.
  • Socials - A great way to get talking to people in the School of Computing.
  • Game conventions - An opportunity to talk to people in the Gaming market and try out some brand new games.
  • And many more...

Contact Us!

One of our committee members will get back in contact with you as soon as possible and are happy to answer anything.

If you are a member, we have a closed Facebook group where we post details about future events that we have in the pipeline for you, from hackathon details to where we're hosting socials.

We have an open Facebook group for events and for non-members to follow and ask any questions they would like!
