Christian Union

Please log in to join this organisation.

The Christian Union is a group of university students from different churches across the city of Plymouth that come together as a mission team on campus. Our mission statement is “to know Jesus and make him known” and with this comes a vision to see students coming to faith, growing in their relationship with God and going on to become disciple makers in the world. We meet regularly for fellowship with one another (each week we hold prayer meetings and small group Bible studies as well as our larger weekly meeting) and hold numerous events throughout the year to serve and make the good news of Jesus accessible to students and staff.

This term we will be having an outreach week every three weeks where we hold big events where anyone can attend and find out more about who we are, what we stand for, ask questions and usually eat free food!

Our main weekly meeting, CU: Central happens every Tuesday at 7.00pm in Babbage 005, in the Babbage building.
Just like any other university society, Freshers’ Week is a key week for the Christian Union – we put on numerous events to help out and make our new students feel welcome. We hold an Events Week in the first week of February each year where numerous events are arranged to make Jesus accessible to staff and students, and make people aware of who we are and what we do. We hold a carol service each Christmas, open to students, staff and local churches. We also organise a weekend away and Christmas meal for our members.
