The Afro-Caribbean Society (ACS) at the University of Plymouth is a multicultural, student-led society that looks to create a safe space to unite BIPOC students of African and Caribbean descent and broadly, anyone captivated by the culture.
We aim to EMPOWER, EDUCATE, and CELEBRATE!
Through recreational, educational, and fundraising socials we strive to promote and raise awareness to not only our members but the larger student body and the general public about issues revolving around the African and Caribbean culture, history, achievements, social/political affairs as well as other matters regarding the BME (Black and Minority Ethnic) community.
We host a range of face to face and virtual events throughout the year to suit everyone. So, do not be shy! Come and be a part of our cultural fusion! ACS Plymouth is a place for fun, family, and fête! We excitedly welcome any and all Individuals!
