Welcome to the University of Plymouth Paramedic Society also known as ParaSoc. ParaSoc is a student-led organisation designed for student paramedics and anyone interested in pre-hospital medicine, from Doctors and nurses to Physios and OT. We aim to provide extra-curricular activities to enhance your knowledge and degree, as well as social events to offer a break from your studies! The society aims to bring multi-disciplinary specialisms together to create strong working relations for the future workforce of the national health care service whether that be in private care or public. 

So, what do we have in store this year so far?

We have so much that we are planning to do this year, and here are just some of the examples which we hope to organise this year: 

1. Simulations with other specialities, including other students from across health care and also with external agencies

2. Guest Leturers from specialists within their field  

3. Opportunities to meet up and have coffee and catch ups to talk about placement, university or anything else you fancy

4. Social events to raise money for charity
