Since way back in 2003, the Movember Foundation has been “changing the face of men’s health” by “challenging the status quo, shaking up men’s health research and transforming the way health services reach and support them”.

“We exist to help men live happier, healthier, longer lives – this is what drives every single one of our 1,250 men’s health projects.”

Their three key focuses are mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer.
Every year, throughout the month of November people around the world come together to raise funds and awareness for Movember by:

• Growing a moustache
• Move by walking or running 60 km
• Host a Mo-ment
• Mo Your Own Way with an epic challenge
• Making a donation

The University of Plymouth Men's Rugby Club (UPRFC) are taking part in Mullstache in support of Movember.

This is not just growing moustaches but also mullets. This is to support and raise awareness through friends and family about men’s mental health and look to reduce suicide rates among men. During these uncertain times in COVID 19 it’s important to reflect upon these issues.
