SU Summer Opening Times

We have reached the end of the academic year and sadly, many SU activities and events have now come to an end during the summer period, including Jam House evenings and our weekly Throwback nightclub. The good news is that all events and activities will start again at the beginning of the new academic year in September!

Whether this is your final year and you’re saying goodbye to student life, or we’ll be seeing you again in September, we hope you have a wonderful summer and thank you for an amazing year!

Postgraduate students:
You haven't been forgotten! We're still here over the summer to provide representation and support throughout your final few months. Please reach out to the SU Advocacy team if we can help! advice@su.plymouth.ac.uk studentvoice@su.plymouth.ac.uk
 
Students' Union building: 
The SU will be open from 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday and closed on Saturdays and Sundays and bank holidays. 
The bar will not be open during the summer. 
 
SU Shop
The SU Shop will be open from 10:30am - 3pm, Monday to Friday and closed on Saturdays and Sundays and bank holidays.

Please note: The SU Shop will be closed during August for a break but don’t worry we will be back open in September!
 
SU Gym 
The SU Gym will be open from 7:30am - 8pm, Monday to Friday, 9am - 1pm on Saturdays and Sundays and closed on bank holidays.

Where to go if you need support over the summer...
There is no shame in reaching out for support. As a University of Plymouth student, you have access to a wide range of services dedicated to supporting you during your time with us.

SU Advice Centre - As a member of the Students' Union, we are here to support you through your time at University, providing free, confidential, and independent advice on a range of issues. You can talk to us in confidence, knowing that nothing will be shared with anyone, including the University, if you don’t want it to be.

University of Plymouth Student Services Hub - The University of Plymouth Student Services Hub offers a wide range of support services including counselling, mental health support, faith and spiritual support, advice for international students and so much more. 

Togetherall Partnership - The University of Plymouth has partnered with Togetherall—a safe, online, peer-to-peer 24/7 global community moderated by clinical professionals to help individuals take control of their mental health through a wealth of resources and self-help courses for free.

Student Portal Wellbeing Resources - Check out a range of wellbeing resources including self-help guides and additional information to support your emotional, physical, social and financial wellbeing.
