President Update: More water re-fill stations will be coming to campus

homepagestudentwinssustain

Last year, students raised concerns over the lack of visible water fountains on campus. Poor provision of water re-fill stations encouraged staff and students to purchase single-use bottled drinks instead. As we all work towards reducing our waste and protecting our planet, it was clear that lobbying the University to increase the number of water fountains was a top priority for our members.

Thanks to continuous campaigning from your SU representatives at key University meetings over the last 6 months, the University have agreed to invest in new, easy to locate, water re-fill stations. The new stations are part of a larger plan to re-fresh the look and feel of our campus, making sure our campus reflects the sustainable credentials we are proud of as University of Plymouth students!
