The purpose of the Postgraduate Development Grant is to help postgraduate students organise and attend relevant student events, projects and activities which will support their and their peers’ academic and personal development whilst at the University of Plymouth.

The Students’ Union will approve funding up to a maximum budget of £300, which can be used as a contribution or can cover costs in their entirety.
The funding must be used towards the cost incurred from an activity that aims to better the postgraduate student experience.
Examples of permitted uses of funding can include social or networking events, conference costs, exhibition costs, subscription fees, affiliation fees, facilitating workshops, travel and accommodation.
The closing date for applications is the 31st October 2019. Applications received after this date will not be considered in the first round of funding. If all funding is allocated in the first round, there will be no further opportunity to apply.
