Free information sessions available to all University of Plymouth students

No matter where you’re at in life, navigating life as a student can be tough.


Our role, as your Students’ Union, is to offer you support and help you to ensure that you have all the information you need to have the best time at University possible. We’re hosting the following information sessions to help you get the information you need. All of the sessions are free to attend and will be delivered online/remotely.


You will need to book your space on each session in order to receive the joining instructions, you can do this for all three sessions through the UPSU website.

Digital Safety, Fraud & Scams: Information Session

This session will be delivered by representatives from Barclays.
 

Organised cyber criminals have been quick to take advantage of the opportunities presented by the Internet, particularly with the growth in shopping and banking online. If we all have a better understanding of the tactics used by today’s cyber criminals and fraudsters we will have a better chance of protecting ourselves.

It's easy to get lost in the excitement of moving into a new rented place, but it's important that you know your tenancy rights before you sign anything.
In this interactive session your friendly SU Advice advisers are going to run through some points that you need to be aware of and answer any questions that you may have.
