Elizabeth Andrews is a member of the Riding and Polo Club and has been part of the club for the last year, competing with the First Riding Team in the BUCS league against Exeter University and Bath University.

During these events, the club rides a dressage test on one horse and a show jumping round on another.

Her success during the league, being placed in the top 2 overall, has resulted in her qualifying individually for the Regional Finals in Southampton on 20th April.

Here, she will compete against the highest placing riders in the region with the possibility of qualifying for nationals!

The commitment and dedication she has experienced by the club’s current committee have been inspiring and they would like to thank Angharad Noakes for her organisation - without her, there would have been no competitions!

Without the ability to train and host home competitions at St Leonard's Equestrian Centre, the society would not have a place in the league, so on behalf of Plymouth Riding and Polo they would to thank, Andy, Katherine and Alex Reeve for the continued support and encouragement provided by them.

I am proud to be representing the University of Plymouth at the next stage of the league and hope it will expand the publicity of Plymouth Riding and Polo Club, increasing the interest of membership and allowing growing success within our teams!
