The aim of this training session is for those attending to gain a basic understanding of how they may assist in helping to resolve conflict.

By the end of this session you will be able to:

1. Help parties to a disagreement to identify the interests behind their respective positions
2. Recognise how to be an effective listener
3. Practise the use of open questions
4. Recall a basic process to assist parties to a disagreement to find a way forward.
