Come along and speak to Routeways and find out more about the opportunities available this Student Volunteering Week
Routeways is a charitable organisation that supports various communities at disadvantage. They have supported victims of crime, individuals seeking training and employment and their biggest project is providing short break services for young people with additional needs. Routeways are passionate about ensuring all young people have access to equal opportunities that promote their social wellbeing and development.
Their services support a range of mental and physical disabilities and are looking for volunteers to support in ensuring young people have engaging and stimulating social and leisure activities. Routeways provide a diverse range of activities from cooking, craft and gardening to adventurous activities such as sailing, rock climbing and paddleboarding.
Join them in the Charles Seale-Hayne Library foyer on Friday 11th February, 1:30 - 4:30pm, to find out more.
Student Volunteering Week 2022 runs from Monday 7th - Sunday 13th February 2022. This week-long event celebrates student volunteering and its impact on wellbeing, improving employability and the contribution it makes to communities.
