Celebrate Success

The celebrate success awards are for student groups and volunteers of UPSU and is a chance to recognise them on an individual basis for their hard work and determination within their student group or their volunteering group this academic year.

Nominations open on Monday 16th March 2026 and close on Wednesday 8th of April 2026. Those who have been nominated and shortlisted will be notified for the awards ceremony on the 6th of May 2026 in the SU Little Room.

We have a variety of awards up for grabs, and can't wait to look through your nominations.

Best Newcomer
This award is given to a new student group that has been approved this academic year, and that has done extremely well in gaining members and has put on plenty of activities for their members to enjoy. Chair of the Year
This award goes to a chair/president of a student group who has really gone above and beyond in their role in the student group. Secretary of the Year
This award goes to a Secretary of a student group who has really gone above and beyond in their role in the student group. Safety Officer of the Year
This award goes to a Safety Officer of a student group who has really gone above and beyond in their role in the student group. Treasurer of the Year
This award goes to a Treasurer of a student group who has really gone above and beyond in their role in the student group. Non-Core Committee Role of the Year
This award goes to a non-core committee member of a student group who has really gone above and beyond in their role in the student group. Volunteer of the Year Award
This Award goes to a volunteer who has a passion for volunteering, has attended multiple activities and has really made an impact. Most Improved Student Group of the Year
This Award goes to a student group who have developed their offer for their members, improving and broadening their scope. .
