About

The Ahlulbayt Islamic.Society aims at propagating the values and principles of Islam in its quintessence derived from the teachings of Holy Qur'an and the paths of prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his holy progeny

Socials

We seek to create an environment which would meet the needs of all Muslim students at the University of Plymouth through social, spiritual and religious means. Regular social gatherings and programs will be held, which would accommodate for all Muslim students, including the students who have children and would like to educate them in this field. Non-muslim students are also welcome to take part in the events if they wish.

Events

  1. Regular Thursday evening program (Dua Kumail – a supplication of God, and also educational sessions for children).
  2. Regular commemoration of the pivotal events in the life course of prophet life and his holy progeny to shed light on their virtues, merits and achievements.
  3. A collaborated nationwide blood donation campaign will be held with the Islamic Unity Society
  4. Weekly sessions to teach the Arabic language and Islamic studies to children every Sunday.
  5. Speakers will be invited to discuss contemporary issues – all members and non-members welcome to attend.

Fundraising and Volunteering

Fundraising events will be held to raise funds and awareness for a few registered charities we will be working alongside. More details on this will be published at a later date.
