In this year’s National Student Survey (NSS), we are proud to have been ranked in the top third in the country. UPSU were ranked 36th out of 130 institutions for student satisfaction, achieving an increased result from the previous year.
The NSS is carried out every year to gather honest students’ opinions on the quality of their courses and their experience of University. The NSS helps to inform prospective students’ choices, provide data that supports institutions in improving the student experience and supports public accountability.
As a part of the survey the NSS asks final year students to share their opinion on how well “The Students’ Union effectively represents students’ academic interests”. The findings in the survey help both the Students’ Union and the University to look at what they need to do to improve the student experience.
