Last semester, students came to us saying that they would like to see a static book exchange on campus so that they could swap books, rather than having to spend money every time. As a simple and effective way for students to read and learn without breaking their budget and also a bonus for our sustainability agenda, we decided to bring bookshelves to the Students’ Union. On Illusion stage, the lower part of The Lounge (Costa), there are two bookshelves which are there for anyone to swap their books - we already have a few books waiting.

How to get involved in the book exchange
Its really simple, just bring down your old books you think could be enjoyed by other students, and take one for yourself.
