We know that the assessment period is a difficult time of year, especially powering through the stress of exams all while summer is just at the end of the tunnel. Therefore, we want to help you be best prepared and comfortable during your end of year exam.

This assessment season, your VP Education will be running a series of Exam Simulator sessions to enable you to make the most out of your exam revision.

What is the Exam Simulator?

Our Exam Simulator Event is designed to simulate real exam conditions as closely as possible. All you have to do is bring along any mock exams, revision or general work you'd like to complete, and we'll create an environment that replicates how the exam hall will look and feel. Crafted by the people that have been there, done that, we will also have a real exam invigilator present to explain the process of why you're being invigilated, what they do and put your mind at ease about the whole exam process. No matter your area of study, you're welcome to pop along!

What are the benefits of attending the Exam Simulator Event?

  1. Practice (not) under pressure: Get a no-pressure experience of sitting in exam conditions. Getting yourself used to the space, silence and exam rules will help you manage exam stress and perform better in real exams.
  2. Boost confidence: Boost your confidence in entering exam spaces and beat the fear! The more you practice, the less scary it gets.
  3. Invigilators are people too!: Get the chance to speak with a real exam invigilator about their role and learn that they aren't in your exams to catch you out. Invigilators are people too, and they completely understand the exam panic.
