Disruption to campus space for the Summer Ball

On Saturday 2nd June from 7pm to 4am University of Plymouth Students’ Union are holding the annual Summer Ball in the centre of campus. There will be minimal impact to you but you may notice a little more noise than usual during the event and leading up to it during sounds checks.

ACCESS

  • Buildings: There will be limited access to the Library and Davey building from 2pm on Saturday 2nd June to 8am Sunday 3rd June.
  • Car Parks: Fitzroy car park will be closed from 4pm Thursday 31st May until 8am Monday 4th June. If you own a vehcile please can you ensure you vehicle is not left there during this period.
  • There will be no access on Saturday 2nd June to the event space between 7pm and 4am unless you hold a ticket or are on the guest list.

SOUND CHECKS

  • There will be sporadic sound checks on Friday 1st June between 5pm and 7pm, also on Saturday 2nd between 12pm and 6pm.

DURING THE EVENT

  • The Main Stage for the event will be on Fitzroy carpark, the Main Stage will be running with music from 7pm on Saturday 2nd June until 12:30am on Sunday 3rd June. All outside music will stop by 12:30am.
