UPSU is pleased to be able to offer you training around core skill areas, to develop your potential.
Throughout your studies, extra-curricular activities and future employment, you will develop and use key knowledge and skills to help you achieve. In particular, transferable skills such as leadership, teamwork, organisation and project management, are keys to success.
UPSU’s new programme of training events looks to provide you with inspiration for developing these transferable skills. Usually no more than two hours long and held outside of teaching time, they are easy to fit around your studies, and are mostly free to attend.
Alex Doyle, USPU’s Vice President of Activities says “We’re offering a great variety of sessions to our students, helping them to grow their capabilities and boost their employability. What’s more, some of the sessions are provided by fellow students through our Peer 2 Peer Training Scheme. These guys have worked hard over the summer period getting trained up, and putting their sessions together. I look forward to attending a few myself!”
