Rewards Descriptive:
The study will be taking place in Plymouth between early June and July, and we are looking for volunteers who may be interested in taking part.
Participants will be required to arrive at the study site at 8:00 AM, avoid ready-made meals the day before the study, consume a meal provided by the research team, and then fast for 10 hours afterwards (with water permitted). During the study period, participants will provide blood samples via a cannula and urine samples, before returning the following day for one final blood sample.
Participants who complete the full study will receive up to £100 as a thank you for their time and contribution. There may also be an opportunity to take part in a second round of the study at a later date under the same conditions, with the possibility of earning an additional £100.
Those interested will also have the opportunity to attend a Zoom session later in the year, where the research team will explain the study in more detail and answer any questions.
