Our SU Gym offers a spacious, fully air-conditioned environment where our members can enjoy their workout in a comfortable, safe space.
The SU gym contains a comprehensive range of facilities designed to cater to all your fitness needs, including a variety of resistance and cardio machines, as well as a free weights area.
As a member, you will also have free access to all our weekly classes run by qualified instructors, including spin, yoga, and pilates classes that take place in either our large exercise studio or sports hall.
If you fancy your hand at squash, you may want to consider a combined membership that allows you access to our three, full-sized squash courts. Alternatively, you can also take out a squash-only membership.

*One-off gym sessions can be purchased for £5 from the reception.
Please note: we have a seven-day cooling-off period in which you can receive a refund if you change your mind.
Annual Membership Benefit
As part of the BUCS UNIversal Gym membership scheme, our annual student members enjoy access to over 80 university gyms across the UK, in addition to the SU Gym here in Plymouth. This exclusive benefit is available only to those with an annual gym membership.
