Enjoy walking and a bit of adventure?
Join us for our first walk of the year to our local beach, Bovisand! This will be the first of many this year and we look forward to seeing as many new and old faces as possible!
The plan is to meet on the SU roof at 11am where we will then walk together to the Barbican ferry, then further along the coast to Bovisand. Please bring £6.50 for the ferry charges (they also take card). We should arrive back in Plymouth barbican around 4pm.
Please bring:
- Lunch (there is also a cafe at Bovisand)
- Suitable shoes; trainers are okay
- Weather appropriate clothing, waterproofs and a coat if forecast rain
- Water
If you're thinking about getting into walking or doing more, we will be running more walks to Dartmoor and further afield throughout the year.

Please be aware that some of the University of Plymouth Students’ Union events may be attended by UPSU approved photographers and videographers, for capturing content to be used in UPSU and University online and offline marketing and promotional materials,
for example webpages, social media or flyers. If for whatever reason, you or a member of your group, do not wish to be photographed, please make yourself known to staff working at the event on arrival or to the photographer.
