Event Description:


Bullying and harassment in the workplace is intolerable. This session will start by looking at what bullying and harassment is, before presenting you with an overview of the law in place that deals with it. You will also be given some guidance on what to do if you do experience, or are currently experiencing, a form of bullying and harassment at work. 

This session will be delivered by Ann Lyon. Ann qualified as a solicitor and spent a period in private practice before becoming a legal academic. She spent 25 years teaching Employment Law, most recently at Plymouth.

This session is part of the Know Your Rights Series, delivered by the Careers & Employability Service and the University of Plymouth Students' Union.
