Workshop: Your Leave Entitlement in the Workplace

Workshop: Your Leave Entitlement in the Workplace

Wednesday 27 February 2019
3pm - 4pm Rolle 205

Do you know what leave and flexible working your employer is legally required to offer you?

Book onto this session here via My Career (your University login details may be required).

Searching for a job or beginning the first step into your career journey, can be daunting enough; knowing what your entitlements are is really key to also knowing if you have to enforce any rights, or if your new employer is actually fair and transparent.

This session will look at some of your key basic entitlements – annual leave, sickness absence, maternity & paternity leave and the right to request flexible working to give you the confidence to know what you can expect and when to ask some questions.

This session is part of the Know Your Rights Series, delivered by the Careers & Employability Service and the University of Plymouth Students' Union. This session will be delivered by Linda Stewart-Birch, HR Manager at the University of Plymouth Students' Union.
