Hello and welcome to the University of Plymouth Crochet and Knit Society!
We will be holding a taster session next week on Thursday (01.10.2026) at 6pm to let people get a hold of the craft, meet likeminded people, and meet the committee! Please bear in mind we cannot teach you all, and we only have a limited number of hooks for you all! For intermediate crocheters, we have a few bags of scrap acrylic yarn for you to take for your projects should you need. Unfortunately, this session will only allow the teaching of crocheting since we're currently getting a hold of people who can teach knit as well!
If you want to take any other projects, please feel free too! Our society is not limited to just crochet and knit, so if you have cross stitch, embroidery, or other stitching projects please don't be afraid to come on in! And if you have any ongoing projects feel free to come along.
The tickets for the event are on this page, if you want to come along please register your interest by grabbing a ticket. They're free, but there are a limited amount so we don't have a huge overwhelm :). The beginners tickets are for those who are interested in learning, mostly so we don't have a huge influx of beginners (and so we have an idea of numbers). If you cannot manage to get a ticket for this week, we run sessions every week for beginners!
