If you’re hoping to play competitively in one of our teams this year, you’ll need to attend trials.
Before trials: Please make sure you fill out the short form using the QR code on our Instagram. This asks for a few details, including your name and the positions you prefer to play, and will help us organise the session beforehand.
Not sure where to go? We’ll be meeting on the SU Roof at 15:50 and walking over to Nancy Astor together. Alternatively, you can meet us directly at Nancy Astor ready for a 16:00 start.
Please don’t be intimidated by the word “trials”! 💙 We’re a fun and friendly club, and the session is simply a chance for us to see everyone play and work out where everyone fits best. Teams are not set in stone, and there will be opportunities to move between teams throughout the season. Training attendance does play a part in this, but we completely understand that healthcare courses can be busy and placements and other commitments mean you won’t always be able to attend.
If you’re feeling nervous, you’re more than welcome to bring a friend along for support, even if they aren’t trialling themselves!
Don’t want to play competitively? That’s absolutely fine, you don’t need to attend trials. Come along and join our Development Squad at training the following week! 🏐
