Bouldering is a form of free climbing that is performed on small rock formations or artificial rock walls without the use of ropes or harnesses!

New to bouldering? Want to refresh your skills? Or just want to have a go? Come along to our Bouldering sessions! 

This Explore activity provides a weekly timetable of bouldering sessions available to all students and staff of the University of Plymouth. 

Bouldering is a form of free climbing that is performed on small rock formations or artificial rock walls without the use of ropes or harnesses! Bouldering is a form of workout for not only for your body but also your mind as sometimes it can be challenging to workout the best route to climb before even beginning! This session is perfect for beginner climbers and those we want to advance their bouldering skills! Please note: the cost does not include shoe hire - please wear sensible trainers.

Cost: £4.50 entry fee for Plymouth Uni students 

Location: The Life Centre, 40 Mayflower Drive, Plymouth PL2 3DF (15-20 minute walk from campus)

No experience necessary - Come along to Bouldering!

How to Book?

You will need to show your student or staff ID card and pay £4.50 at the climbing reception desk to access the session, please book in advance due to the limited capacity. To book, please call: 01752 606900, option 5.

Your first visit will require you to register with the centre.
