🥋 Give It A Go – Japanese Jiu Jitsu

Looking for a new sport, a way to keep active, or simply a great group of people to meet? Come and try Japanese jiu-jitsu at one of our FREE Give It A Go sessions during Freshers' Week!

Our sessions are designed specifically for complete beginners, so no previous martial arts experience or fitness level is required. You'll meet our instructors and friendly members while learning some fundamental throws, breakfalls and self-defence techniques in a safe, supportive environment.

🎒 What Should I Bring?

• Comfortable sports clothing (t-shirt and joggers or shorts)
• Water bottle
• A gi (martial arts uniform) if you already own one (not essential)
• We usually train barefoot on the mats, although grippy socks are absolutely fine if you're more comfortable wearing them.
