Would you like to volunteer at The Box Plymouth? Are you enthusiastic and good with people? We’re now recruiting for three exciting volunteer roles that will support our visitor facing teams.
- Gallery Guides will be based in our galleries, helping visitors interpret the exhibitions and collections on display and find their way around the building.
- Archives and Research Support Volunteers will assist visitors with their research enquiries, including helping them to access the reference library and online collections database.
- Learning Volunteers will provide support to our programme of school workshops and family activities.
Full training will be given and shifts will be flexible across the seven day week.

Event photography and video
Please be aware that some of the University of Plymouth Students’ Union events may be attended by UPSU approved photographers and videographers, for capturing content to be used in UPSU and University online and offline marketing and promotional materials,
for example webpages, social media or flyers. If for whatever reason, you or a member of your group, do not wish to be photographed, please make yourself known to staff working at the event on arrival or to the photographer.
