University of Plymouth Motorsport & Karting

University of Plymouth Motorsport & Karting is a BRAND NEW sports team & society (Est. July 2025) with the aim of making Motorsport & Karting as accessible as possible & creating a welcoming environment where karters (of all levels), motorsport enthusiasts and people looking to learn more about the sport are able to meet new people and bond over their shared passion in a healthy and fun way!

EVENTS:

• Monthly karting sessions (Every day & time TBC, at Adrenalin Quarry)
• Weekly sim training sessions (Every Wednesday, 1:30pm- 5:00pm in Smeaton 103)
• Fortnightly/ Monthly social events (such as game nights & movie marathons)
• Frequent motorsport watch parties for Formula 1, Word Endurance Championships, Rally

FUTURE PLANS:

In the future, we hope to grow the team to a level where we can represent the University of Plymouth at national competitions like the British University Karting Championships (BUKC).
