Who We Are:

The Biology Society is for anyone with an interest in biology, no matter your degree! This society is perfect for anyone who wants to dive deeper into the world of biology, meet new people, and get involved in fun and educational activities. From guest speakers and nature walks to hands-on DIY projects, lab workshops, and of course, pub nights, there's something for everybody

As a member, you’ll also have the chance to get involved in volunteering opportunities, attend networking events, and get a reduced membership for the Royal Society of Biology!

Events:

We run a variety of events to keep things interesting, wether you're looking for something social, academic, indoors, or outdoors. Some of our events include:

• Plant/Fungi walks
• Beach clean-ups
• Charity events
• Talks & seminars
• Pub nights & quizzes
• Trips for volunteering and learning

Got an idea for an event or social? We’re always open to suggestions, so don’t hesitate to reach out!

Volunteering:

Being biologists, we want to give back and make a difference. As part of the society, you’ll have access to volunteer opportunities around campus and elsewhere. It’s a great way to gain experience, earn CPD points, and help out the evnironment and community!!
