Craft Society

Hi! Welcome to the Craft Society!

We are a group that believe in the power of creativity, and how it can bring people together. We wanted a space that people could come to to learn something new, bring their own projects to show off and generally just have a third space that we felt was missing in our university community. Hence, here we are.

Here's the need-to-know about our society:

♡ We are a sober society - we prioritise inclusivity. Not everyone can or wants to drink and we feel that it is important to have a space that has that at its core.  

♡ Our charity of the year is Plymouth Hospitals Charity - we feel that important that we give back to the people that take care of the people in the city in need, and that we support those who rely on them. 

♡ As a crafty society, its important that we are able to express ourselves whilst keeping the environment around us in mind. We aim to use mainly recycled materials for our sessions, to promote sustainability and a cleaner planet for all of us.

♡ We want everyone to be able to enjoy themselves at our sessions. If what we are doing at a particular session isn't your cup of tea, we have a range of different materials available to 'choose your own adventure' so to speak. And board and card games, customised by our society members (coming soon..!), because who doesn't like a good board game?
