I was blown away by the number of nominations we had for April. Reading what everyone has been up to makes me so proud of everything you’ve been achieving. I want to congratulate everyone who was nominated this month!
On to our winners…
Student of the month: Joshua Akinde
Joshua has been an exceptional society member this year. As chair of the Big Band Society, he has organised multiple events throughout the year, including the Battle of the Big Bands, which was a raging success.
He has worked incredibly hard throughout the year, with no complaint. He deserves to be recognised for all his hard work this year.
Congratulations Josh.

Every Wednesday the volunteers go and play sports and socialise with disabled adults from the age of 16+.
There were a lot of adults that didn’t feel comfortable talking at the start of the year and now are chatting with our student volunteers. They have also taken part in fundraising activities for rotary charities.
Congratulations to the Special Olympics group of Student-Led Volunteering.
