Are you changing courses next year?

For a number of different reasons, you might be considering a different course next year, or even a different specialism within the same subject area.

Any change of course will trigger a new funding calculation by SFE and, although this does not affect the Tuition Fee Loan available to most students, there are certain circumstances when a Tuition Fee Loan is not available.

Problems arise most often when switching to a Fast Track course or if a student has studied other degree courses or has had to repeat years of study.

Before you decide to change course, please take the opportunity to check with us if you will have the funding available – it could make things more straightforward if you find out the implications of changing earlier in the process.
