What is the ‘Best Bar None Awards’?
The Best Bar None is a national award scheme which aims to promote responsible management and operation of alcohol-licensed premises in the South West.
The SU has been a participating venue in the Best Bar None Awards for many years, and has been continuously recognised for going above and beyond with its practices to ensure the welfare of students and staff members at our venue, providing an excellent space for the student community to socialise and safely enjoy an evening out. This includes most recently achieving the National and Local Plymouth Best Bar None accreditation 2025/26! 👏🏼
